Small on purpose
Masonites isn't advertised. It grows by word of mouth, and that is deliberate.
A smaller server means the people on it know each other - your name means something here, and the person who helps you at 2am will still be around next wipe.
It also means new systems land constantly instead of once a year. Custom bosses, raid events, wildlife that remembers you - all built for this server, most of it this month.
Your blueprints survive every wipe, so nothing you learn here is ever wasted.

Under the hood
Almost nothing here came out of a box. The bosses, the wildlife, the events and the rules holding them together were designed and built for this server - and they keep changing.

Not a plugin pack bought off a shelf and reskinned. These systems are ours, built here and tuned on this map, with these players.

Alpha predators that are genuinely dangerous, each with its own rewards and its own tells. Some of them do not announce themselves at all.

Raid bases, declared wars, night votes and the Kings - each with its own warnings, its own consequences, and a reason to drop what you are doing.

Blueprints survive every wipe. A kill rewards everyone who bled for it, not just whoever landed the last shot. And a clean slate is yours to ask for, never forced on you.

New systems land in weeks, not years. When something breaks we fix it the same night - and you will read about it in the patch notes.

Keeper of the Long Dark
They will tell you not to walk the fields after dark. Ask them why, and the old ones go quiet.
Before the walls, before the guns, there was only the Harvest. A caretaker worked this land alone, and when the frost came for his crop he did what desperate men do - he struck a bargain with the thing that lives in the long dark. An endless harvest, perfect and unwithering. The price was his eyes, his name, and his sleep.

The Rot That Walks
Deep in the tree line, where the ground goes soft and the air turns sweet with rot, something feeds.
The trappers called it a boar once. It has not been a boar for a long time. The fungus took it the way the fungus takes everything down there - slow, patient, hollowing it out and moving in. Now it guards its grove like a crown, and what grows beneath its hooves grows wrong: mushrooms pale as drowned things, apples that never turn.

Not every soul out here is a monster. Some are just stubborn.
Rue Marsh keeps a green patch in the middle of a killing world - crops that never wilt, hens that never die, a barrel fire that never quite goes out. Folks assume she's touched in the head, farming alone where the alphas roam. Folks are wrong.
